Our Church Name
VALLEY
More than just our location (in the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York), we are VALLEY because valleys are not only a part of the landscape but also a part of life. It is in the valleys of life that we often discover incredible things about God and his love for us. This is our continuing prayer for the VALLEY family; that we would experience Jesus Christ’s love together daily and deeply.
Christian
It is with humility and dedication that we call ourselves Christian. We are Christians solely because of our faith in what Christ has done for us by his life, death and resurrection, and not by anything we have accomplished ourselves. We view ourselves connected to the Christian Church historical, and are one of many diverse expressions of the Christian faith throughout the ages. We appreciate and celebrate the great tapestry of other Christian traditions.
Church
VALLEY is a grateful people who have experienced God's love and forgiveness through faith and trust in Jesus Christ. It is a safe place where everyone can experience acceptance, grace, and love. Each person is valued-not by the color of their skin or status but because of God's unconditional love and acceptance.
