Transformation. Change. Becoming something other than what we once were. We believe that the goal of following Christ is transformation, our lives taking a new shape - into the image of Jesus Christ. We also believe that this kind of change doesn’t take place in an instant, but over time...along a journey. We like to think of life at VALLEY like a road trip, a transformation journey. And there are a number of stops along the way.
There is Main Street:
Main Street is the initial environment that people experience at VALLEY. Its an easy, comfortable point of access. You come to check things out and get a feel for what life is like around here. The Sunday worship gathering is our primary
Main Street experience, as well as social events that we occasionally hold.
There are Bridges:
Bridges connect us to the next phases of the journey. Bridge environments at VALLEY are short term, topical small groups and events. Bridges are connecting points, where we begin building relationships with others who are on this journey with us. Some Bridges connect us through areas of common interest, others through study of the Bible. Either way, we ‘cross over’ into deeper relationships & start seeing positive changes in our lives.
Then, There are Highways:
The Highway is where we really pick up speed, where we log a lot of miles, and travel great distances. The Highway provides the greatest opportunity for Transformation. VALLEY Highway environments are our ‘Coaching Groups’. These groups are small groups for men, women and students that involve year long commitments, strategic personal development & deeper relational connections. This is how life happens at VALLEY...
