Media at VALLEY

When you have a message you are trying to get across to someone, its critical that you communicate in a way that they will understand.  Media is the language of our culture, so VALLEY speaks that language so that our message - the transforming power of Christ's love - comes through clearly.

In our weekend gatherings, multiple forms of media technology (video, lighting, sound, graphic arts) combine to help create dynamic environments and engage the community.

Through podcasting and messages available on this site VALLEY communicates to the online community.  Check out the podcasts and online messages by using the menu on the right.

What is the VCC Podcast?

"Podcasting is the method of distributing multimedia files, such as audio or video programs, over the Internetsyndication feeds, for playback on mobile devices and personal computers. The term, coined in 2004, combines "iPod", a popular portable audio device, and "broadcasting." ~Wikipedia~

The VCC Podcast, when subscribed to, is an easy, automatic way to get the weekly messages of Valley Christian Church delivered straight to your computer in a "set-it-and-forget-it" format. Once subscribed, your computer will automatically retrieve each podcast as they are posted. You can listen straight from your computer, write the message to a CD, or transfer the file to your iPod or other portable music device.

 

Podcast Directions:

The simplest way to subscribe to the VCC Podcast is to download iTunes (click here to be taken to the iTunes website).
  1. Click on the link above.
  2. Once on the iTunes website, click on Download in the top left corner.
  3. Then follow the directions from iTunes, which will help install both iTunes and Quicktime on your computer.
Once iTunes is installed on your computer, click on the iTunes link (green rectangle) on our podcast page. This will open iTunes and directly link to our podcast page. Once on the VCC Podcast page just click the subscribe button to have the latest message automatically downloaded to iTunes on your computer. Finally, download this to any iPod and Enjoy!!!
